According to chart analysts at Hits Daily Double Mariah Carey's new Christmas album is expected debut next week on the US Billboard 200 anywhere from 50-60k units judging by retail figures.
Carey’s first Holiday collection, ‘Merry Christmas’, debuted in 1994 at #30 on the chart with less than 45k sold before experiencing large increases in sales as the season progressed. Many radio stations play X-mas songs about early December.
Carey who is in her 40s, has been pushing her baby news pregnancy and linking it to her Merry Christmas II You promotions.
