American Idol losing its steam

... like a struggling contestant getting a "judge's save" on "Idol", Reuters has reported that viewers have changed their likings from American Idol a reality show to a new musical Glee instead.

This 9-year-old program's viewers down 7.5 percent from 26.4 million viewers a show to 24.4 percent. 2 months ago American Idol was beaten by NBC's Winter Olympics and "Dancing With the Stars" as the "most-watched TV series" by all viewers.

Big fishes at Fox Television see this falling ratings as 'not unusual' and proud to reveal that the company heads into the year's biggest advertisement sales.  Few big names and artist have appeared to save Idol such as Adam Lambert, Harry Connick Jr., Shania Twain, Alicia Keys, Usher, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and Miley Cyrus as celebrity mentors and performers.

This season is the final for top Idol star Simon Cowell as a judge but Fox told Reuters there will be no official announcement for Cowell's successor for the season of 2010-11 at this point.

However, Robert Bianco from USA TODAY have some strong interesting words for the judges and host.

Stop babbling, give Ellen another job and find better contestants!
