For the 4th time, Madonna will team up with Versace, Mert Marcus & Marcus Piggot for its Spring / Summer 2015 Collections and the first time Versace hired Madonna was in 1995 directed by Steven Meisel. According to MMF Italian fashion website, Versace will announce this project soon to the media.
Her desperation is so real...
Lady Gaga edited, posted & stole Metallica's sold-out concert to give an illusion that her performance in the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, Quebec, Canada was sold-out.
"The festival has been trotting out heritage artists like Earth Wind & Fire, singers Tony Bennett (joined by Lady Gaga for a surprise duet), Cassandra Wilson, Dianne Reeves, Bobby McFerrin, hometown favorite Michael Buble (performing July 4 and 5) and solo concerts from pianists Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau. The biggest events have been part of the free outdoor Les Performances series. French artist Woodkid put on a visually mesmerizing performance for the Opening Event, and Sunday night’s Grand Event featured Canadian sweetheart Diana Krall playing her first free concert in Montreal — in front of 100,000 people. Supported by a quintet that included guitarist Marc Ribot, Krall was boosted by a “surprise” appearance from husband Elvis Costello, who’d been playing his own solo concert earlier that evening. Costello accompanied Krall’s encore, which included The Band’s “Ophelia” and Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues.” - Billboard
Maybe Lady Gaga can't stand the fact that The Mrs. Carter Show by Beyonce ended its yearlong run with overall revenue totaling $212 million from more than 1.8 million sold tickets at 126 concerts?
Tsk, tsk, tsk.....Naughty! Can she go any lower that this? I feel bad for her fans...I really do. Take a break Gaga. You have...peaked!
Madonna has added another Guinness World Records (2014 Edition) title to her collection.
Madonna’s MDNA tour visited 67 cities for 88 performances that grossed $296.1 million, an average of $4.4 million a night, Pollstar’s data show. Her average ticket price was just more than $140, far from the priciest concert tickets of the year. Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band came in at No. 2, grossing $210.2 million from 81 shows in 66 cities on the Wrecking Ball tour. Springsteen sold more tickets than Madonna — nearly 2.3 million to her 2.1 million — but at significantly lower ticket prices. Seats for Springsteen’s shows averaged just less than $92.
In May 2013, it was announced that Madonna would be honored with the Top Touring Award at the Billboard Music Awards. Madonna currently hold 20 Guinness world records and here some highlights :-
- Top-Selling Female Recording Artist (2011)- 200 million records worldwide

- The Artist with The Most #1 Dvd's in the US- (Celebration is her last DVD topped the Chart)
- The Highest Grossing Tour for a Solo Artist of All Time (Sticky & Sweet Tour 2009)
- The Most Costume Changes in a film Evita (more than 300)
- The World's Most Successful Female Musician (2007)

Incomparable, untouchable, unachievable success by any other than Queen, Icon, Legend...Madonna!
From an earnings perspective, however, there’s no question over the winner of this battle’s latest round. The honor goes to Madonna, who pulled in $125 million over the past year, making her the highest-paid musician in the world. The bulk of Madge’s millions came from the tail end of her MDNA Tour, which grossed $305 million. She augments her income with heady merchandise sales at concerts, as well as her Material Girl clothing line and Truth or Dare fragrance.
Gaga ranks second with $80 million; she grossed over $160 million on her latest tour before succumbing to a hip injury. Had she been able to finish, she would have likely topped $200 million. Her ARTPOP album was released after the end of our scoring period, but should give her a boost on next year’s list. She could easily reach the No. 1 spot with a successful set of concerts, the main driver for most major artists’ earnings.
